Two Benefit Events November 16th

    Kenlie Camille Jackson, daughter of Sergeant Ken Jackson (EBR Sheriff’s Office) and his wife, Jennifer, was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma cancer in April of 2008, and was treated at St. Jude. The cancer has spread to her lungs and treatments have increased.
    There will be a benefit for Kenlie at Blackie’s Place, 10010 Sullivan Road, on November 16th, 2013. There will be DJs all day, award winning pastalaya plates for $7, live auctions, door prizes, a bake sale, and lots of fun! Festivites start at noon.
 
     On Saturday, November 16th, there will be a jambalaya benefit dinner for Central residents Rusty and Susan Jacobs.  Susan is diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig Disease), and Rusty is a disabled veteran diagnosed with chronic debilitating peripheral neuropathy.
    Lunches will be to go via drive through service from 11AM until 2PM in front of the gym at the old Starkey Academy on Joor Road.  Lunches are $7 each.  Tickets can be purchased in advance at any of the following locations:
