Superintendent Faulk Resigns, Accepting State Level Job

M Faulk Picture 20170623_141541bCentral Community School System Superintendent Mike Faulk is resigning effective December 31st to become the Executive Director of the Louisiana Association of School Superintendents. Faulk has been the Superintendent since the inception of the school system, which has seen rapid growth and is consistently ranked as one of the state's top school systems.
School Board President David Walker advised that the Human Resources committee will meet in the next two weeks to set the process in place to search for Faulk's replacement. Walker added that the full School Board will finalize that process at the regularly scheduled July 10th meeting.
