5. To consider approval of the minutes from the Regular School Board Meeting held on Monday, May 8, 2017 and take appropriate action.
6. To consider approval of the minutes from the Strategic Planning Session held on Monday, May 15, 2017 and take appropriate action.
7. To consider the Superintendent's Recommendation for administrative, instructional and support staff positions and take appropriate action. (Mr. Faulk)
8. To receive the staff's recommendation to award bids for Waste Collection and Disposal Services and take appropriate action. (Mr. Faulk)
9. To consider selection of the Official Journal for the 2017-2018 Fiscal Year. (Mr. Faulk)
10. To consider and take action with respect to adopting a resolution giving preliminary approval to the issuance of General Obligation School Refunding Bonds, of the Central Community School System; making application to the State Bond Commission for approval of said Bonds; and providing for other matters in connection therewith. 11. To consider and take action with respect to adopting a resolution giving preliminary approval to the issuance of Sales Tax Refunding Bonds, of the Central Community School System; making application to the State Bond Commission for approval of said Bonds; and providing for other matters in connection therewith. 12. To receive a report from the Curriculum Committee Meeting held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 and take appropriate action regarding the following:
a. Implementation of a New Math Series for Grades K thru 8 for the 2017-2018 School Year
b. Implementation of a New Social Studies Series for Grades 3 thru 7 for the 2017-2018 School Year
c. New Resources added to Science Curriculum to Address the New Science Standards for Grades K thru 8
d. Initiating a Pre-Engineering Pathway in the 2017-2018 School Year for up to 40 Ninth Grade Students
e. Implementation of a Pilot Program for Algebra students at Central High School for the 2017-2018 School Year
f. Implementation of a Summer Bridge Program for incoming Ninth Grade students at Central High School beginning in the 2017-2018 School Year
g. Revisions to and relocation of the Virtual School Program for the 2017-2018 School Year
13. To receive the staff's recommendation to award bids for products to be utilized by the Child Nutrition Program for the 2017-2018 School Year and take appropriate action. (Mr. Faulk)
