Ma-Khail Hilliard & Brady Jones Receive Baseball Scholarships

    Central High school is proud to announce that Ma’Khail Hilliard and Brady Jones signed baseball scholarships with Louisiana State University and University of Louisiana at Lafayette, respectively.  The ceremony took place in the Library at Central High School in front of teammates, classmates, friends, and family.
    Ma’Khail Hilliard, who will sign with Louisiana State University, is a two time All District selection in 2015 and 2016 as a pitcher.  He has been a mainstay on the mound for the Wildcats during his career.  He has attended several camps during the summer while playing in various parts of the United States.  Ma’Khail plans to major in Construction Management.
    Brady Jones, who will sign with University of  Louisiana at Lafayette, is a four year letterman.   Brady was Freshman Player of the Year, and he has received All District honors during his career.  He has been ranked #1 Catcher in Louisiana and Top 25 All Around Player by Perfect Game, ranked in the top 25 in Louisiana by PBR.  Has been invited, and attended, MLB showcases the past 3 years.  Brady played in the Battle of the Borders and was High School Honorable Mention All Around Player by Perfect Game for 2 years.  Brady is a member of the Big Brothers at Central High School.  A 3.0 student, Brady plans to major in Kinesiology- Sports Medicine.
