City of Central Press Release
With so many of our neighborhoods affected by the recent flooding, the City of Central would like to provide a fun and safe environment for our children to enjoy a Trick or Treating celebration this Halloween.  In partnership with BREC and Blackwater Methodist Church, Central will host the first ever Halloween Hullabaloo.
The event will feature an outdoor movie and games provided by BREC and Trick or Treating. Kids will also have a chance to see and explore the Central Police Department’s Command Post, and the Central Fire Department’s Fire Truck.
All Central churches, businesses, neighborhood associations, sports teams and any interested individuals are invited to host a “Trick or Treat” booth. Each participant must register online and provide their own pop-up tent, table, chairs, and candy to give away. Booths will limited to a 10 x10 space. Registration is free for the event, and creativity is highly encouraged. The best decorated booth will be awarded a prize.
The event will take place 6-8pm on October 31st at the BREC Central Sports Park on Hooper Road.
Please sign up at www.discovercentral.net/halloween-hullabaloo<http://www.discovercentral.net/halloween-hullabaloo> to participate in this free family event and provide Central’s kids with a fun, safe place to celebrate the start of the fall season.
