Central Food Bank Help Needed

    The Central Food Bank's hours are presently Thursdays from 10:00 to 1:00.  They are not only open to serve their regular clients, but also have "Flood Bags" and cases of water available to anyone who needs some supplies.  Please remember that the Food Bank, even throughout this flood event, still has to provide for those who regularly need assistance, including those who have been displaced.  These folks are mostly our senior citizens. 
    Due to school closures, the Food Bank was not able to have their annual food drive through the schools, so supplies are truly at a low.  Peanut Butter, jelly, hamburger helper type mixes are all requested.  They even have limited space for perishable items like meat and eggs.  Please consider donating so that our folks who need assistance can get what they need.
    There will be a training session soon for volunteers who are VERY needed. More volunteers means the Food Bank can be open more frequently.  Financial donations are also very appreciated.    Please go to the Central Food Bank Facebook page for updates and information on how YOU can help!
