There will be a city council meeting Tuesday, August 24 at the CCSS School Board Offices on Joor Road.  The meeting begins at 6 p.m.  The agenda is below.

2) Report from James Salsbury, City of Central Chief of Police, concerning law enforcement within the City of Central.
3) Report from David Ratcliff, IBTS Program Manager, concerning services through July, 2015 provided to the City of Central.
4) Introduction of the following item(s) (with public hearing to be held at the September 8, 2015 council meeting):
None
5) Public Hearing and action regarding the following instrument(s):
a) A resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into negotiations with the Central Community School System for the purchase of land at the corner of Hooper Road and Sullivan Road for a site to locate the Central City Hall. (By Council Member Fralick)

1) Introduction of the following item(s) (with public hearing to be held at the September 8, 2015 council meeting):

2) Discussion and action regarding the following case(s):
a) CUP-4-15 Conditional Use Permit for Raising Horses. An ordinance to grant a Conditional Use Permit for property located at 15648 Four Oaks Drive on Lot 4-A of the Twin Oaks Subdivision, which is on the east side of Four Oaks Drive south of the Denham Road intersection in Section 48, T5S, R2E, GLD, EBR, LA for raising livestock within the Rural/Agricultural Zoning District and to provide for related matters. Applicant: Todd David (By Council Member Messina) Commission Action (July 23, 2015): A motion to approve CUP-4-15 was made by Mr. Bijan Sharafkhani, seconded by Mr. Harry Rauls with the stipulation that all conditions of the Livestock Code are met (Section 7:3:38 of the Code of Ordinances, see Attachment A). Vote: 5 yeas (Messrs: Burns, Matlock, Rauls, Sharafkhani, Walker), 0 nays, 2 absent (Messrs: Anderson, Johnson) and the motion carried

V. Other Business
1) Public Comment * Restricted to items not on the agenda. A Public Comment Request to Speak Card must be turned in to the City Clerk prior to the start of the meeting in order to be considered. Public comment is limited to 10 speakers with three minutes each.
