EBRSO Looking for Missing Baton Rouge Woman
East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for information in reference to a missing woman. Detectives received information yesterday that Tahereg Ghassemi, a 54-year-old Middle-Eastern female, of Baton Rouge was last heard from at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11th. Ghassemi’s vehicle, a 2004 blue, 4-door Jaguar, was also missing.
According to reports, on Sunday, April 14th at 2:30 a.m., BRPD responded to a burned vehicle at 9600 Chalma Ave., which was later identified as Ghassmi’s vehicle. The vehicle was intentionally set on fire and completely destroyed.
