EBRSO Recovers Stolen BBQ Pit Trailer

TrailerTheft1TrailerTheft2b       On January 6, at approximately 6 pm, EBRSO was dispatched to an apartment complex at 6645 Harry Drive in reference to a caller advising that a BBQ pit and trailer matching the one stolen from David’s Tiger Express located at 12031 Hooper Rd was in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
    East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives are still looking for the unknown male that stole the trailer from David’s Mobil Station located at 12101 Hooper Road on December 28, 2014 at approximately 5:25am.
    According to reports, a Deputy was able to view video of the incident which showed the suspect’s Ford Explorer pull into the parking lot from the Joor Road side of the building. The truck then backed up to the trailer, which was unable to be seen in the video footage.
    At approximately 5:26 a.m., the deputy observed the truck driving toward Hooper Road exit, where the passenger, an unknown male, exited the vehicle and closed the gate to the trailer. The suspects then left the parking lot turning East on Hooper Road.  The suspect is described as wearing a tan long sleeve shirt and khaki pants.
