In Memoriam: John King, Sr.

    John A. King, Sr. passed away at  9:24 AM Monday, January 13, 2014 at his residence in Baker at the age of 78. He was a native of Shattuck, Oklahoma and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
    Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, 9995 Hooper Road, Central, LA 70818 on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the memorial service at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Carl Rushing.
    Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and David Freeman; his son John A. King, Jr.; one sister and 3 brothers; two grandchildren, Jeffrey McCurley and Melissa Freeman; one great-grandson, Jackson; daughter-in-law, Lindy King; two step-granddaughters, 8 step-great-grandchildren and eleven step-great-great-grandchildren.
    Preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Riggs King; parents, William and Mina Manor King; son, Thomas "Tommy" King; six siblings.
