City of Central Appreciation Day at Baton Rouge Zoo

    Come celebrate YOUR community! In recognition of your support and in celebration of our neighboring communities, the Baton Rouge Zoo is hosting the following City Appreciation Day: City of Central Appreciation Day: January 25, 2014
    Visitors presenting a valid driver's license with a household address that includes one of that city's zip codes will be offered "buy one, get one" pricing on admission. Simply buy one admission ticket and receive one of equal or lesser value for FREE!
    Activities will include a city-themed scavenger hunt throughout the Zoo, regular keeper chats and special city programming.  Come meet and greet with city and school board officials, the Central Chamber of Commerce, and other community partners.
Regular Zoo Opening:  9:30 a.m.
Meet and Greet with Central officials:  9 a.m.
No Political Campaigning is allowed on Zoo property.  This includes:
• Campaigning or soliciting of any sort is prohibited
• Hand-outs of any nature are prohibited, as they create additional trash throughout the Zoo
• Balloons and stickers, which can be dangerous to our animals, are prohibited
