In Memoriam: Don Myers

    Don J. Myers passed away at 6:45 PM Friday, December 6, 2013, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at the age of 67. He was a native and resident of Baton Rouge, a Senior Welding Inspector for Intertek and a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam. He attended Hollywood Elementary in Baton Rouge, Istrouma Junior and Senior High Schools, and graduated from Broadmoor High School in 1965 (GED).

    Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, 9995 Hooper Road, Central, LA 70818 on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 11:00 AM until the Memorial Service at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel conducted by Pastor Michael Button.

    Survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Celeste Clouatre Myers;son, Brandon Lee Myers; daughters and a son-in-law, Heather Myers Shelton (Dale) and Holly Lynn Myers; sister, Katie Myers Young; grandchildren, Madeline, William and Lily Grace Shelton; niece, Tarilyn Young McBride (Chuck); great-niece, Allison McBride; great-aunt, Thelma Faulk; dearest friends, Lester, Lloyd, Frank, Dennis, Ronnie, Rodney, Leonard, Kim and Ricky.

    Preceded in death by his parents, E.J. and Opal McMills Myers; father-in-law and mother-in-law, L.J. and Josie Clouatre.

    He was of the Baptist faith and was an avid Harley Davidson motorcyclist.
