Thankful for Central

By  |
Of all God’s blessings on my life, living in Central is one of the greatest.  As I count my blessings this week I am thankful in Central:
For a farm on the Comite that enticed my Grandparents to settle here almost 100 years ago.
For the privilege of growing up working and playing on that same land.
For this community welcoming my wife from Virginia and making her glad she came here.
For the community of faith that taught me my beliefs.
For that same Christian community that helped Mia and I teach our children their faith.
For all the dedicated people who educated my children.
For being the city my children have chosen as their home.
For living in a place where your word is your bond and your handshake is your contract.
For being the greatest place on earth to live and raise a family.  I am thankful for Central.
