Turn Back Clocks, Change Alarm Batteries This Weekend

By  |
The Central Fire Department would like to remind you when we change the clocks back one hour on November 3rd at  2:00 AM. Replace the batteries in our smoke alarms.  The Central Fire Department recognizes that the best way to fight a fire is to prevent it.
Free Smoke Alarm Program/Battery Replacement
The Smoke Alarm Program is a joint venture with LA State Fire Marshal and Energizer that provides smoke alarms and/or batteries to the elderly or less fortunate in the Central Fire Protection District. Arrangements can be made through this department as to where the alarms or batteries can be delivered and installed free of charge.  To contact us, call the Central Fire Prevention Office at 261-2000 or send us an e-mail   [email protected]
