Comite Hills Burglary Solved

By  |
Jordan Law of Comite Hills subdivision in Central was arrested Monday and charged with Felony Burglary and Felony Simple Theft.  On Saturday, a Comite Hills resident filed a complaint that jewelry was missing from her house.  EBRSO Detective Michelli conducted a pawn inquiry and found that the complainant's neighbor, Jordan Law, had sold jewelry matching the description of the missing pieces to a Baton Rouge pawn shop.  The victim identified the jewelry as hers.
While Detective Michelli was still at the pawn shop having identified the jewelry, the accused drove into the parking lot.  Michelli placed him in custody and read him his rights.  The accused admitted to the burglary and was booked into the EBR Parish Prison.
