Blood Drive at Blackwater Methodist This Sunday

Blackwater United Methodist Church is having a blood drive this Sunday, August 29^th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church on Blackwater Road. The Blackwater blood drive is a quarterly event that helps to stock the Our Lady of the Lake Blood Bank. All donors will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a cruise for 2 to Cozumel. Donors will also receive a free Nascar-themed blood donor t-shirt. Anyone wishing to donate should be 17 years old or over and should bring a picture ID, reading glasses if needed, and should eat before donating. If you would like more information on the blood drive, contact Our Lady of the Lake Blood Bank at 765-8843. Consider coming out to save a life by donating blood. You do not need to be a member of the church to contribute.
