Business Spotlight: Polly’s Home and Garden Decor

Polly Prestridge Cottano is a Central resident who recently opened her own business.  Polly’s Home and Garden Décor is located on Greenwell Springs Road near Comte in the same shopping center as Jerry Lee’s.  Business hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Polly purchases overstock items from the Home Shopping Network, Lowe’s, Ace Hardware, and Home Depot and sells the items at a reduced price to the public.  She also carries products from a gift line in her store. 

Polly’s Home and Garden Decor carries a wide variety of products for men, women, and children.  Polly carries baby bows and other items, children’s toys, soaps, picture frames, and other gifts for your female friends, and men’s gift items like Harley Davidson memorabilia.  There are also bed and bath products like towels and mattress pads.  No matter who you are looking to purchase a gift for, Polly’s likely has something in that category.  Polly is even planning to sell flash-frozen fruits and vegetables soon.  These foods have been frozen quickly almost immediately after being harvested so that they keep as much of their freshness as possible.  Gift certificates are also available for purchase.
