FEMA Grant Funds New Equipment for Fire Department

The Central Fire Department received a FEMA federal fire act grant in the amount of $130,000 to replace rescue equipment on two heavy rescue trucks that was over 25 years old.
 
The new equipment pictured is two each one for each rescue truck
 
           Electric Hydraulic motor 
           Hurst Spreaders (jaws of life)
           Hurst Cutters
           Hurst Ram (Large)
           Hurst Ram  (medium)
 
A new set of high pressure air bags was also purchased for each rescue truck.
 
This rescue equipment is used to extricate people from motor vehicle accidents.
