Man Arrested for False Imprisonment, Battery, Property Damage

From the EBR Sheriff's Office:

On May 3, 2010 deputies were dispatched to 15039 West Beaver in reference to the complainant's cable wire being cut. Deputies have been to this residence on several occasions due to the complainant's property being damaged including windows and plumbing being shot, tires on her vehicle being flattened and on today's date her cable wire was cut. The complainant advised that it has been an ongoing problem since she assisted her female neighbor in a domestic disturbance in November. On today's date the female neighbor advised the complainant that her boyfriend is the one that is damaging her property and he isn't going to stop.
Deputies attempted to contact the subject, Craig Clement, W/M, 9/11/71 at 15049 West Beaver. Upon knocking on the door deputies heard a female voice inside the trailer saying please don't kill me. Deputies continued attempting to get Clement to come to the door. After several hours Clement finally came to the door. At this time deputies were able to question Clement's girlfriend who advised that he held her against her will and was making threats that he would have to kill her. She further advised that she witnessed Clement shoot towards the complainant's trailer on several occasions.
Clement was charged with False Imprisonment, Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property(3 cts.), Illegal Use of Weapons or Dangerous Instrumentalities(3 cts.) and Domestic Abuse Battery.
