Wildcat Volleyball Opens District with Win over Bulldogs

After a successful Dutchtown tournament, the Wildcats opened district with a big win over Baton Rouge High. The game was a total team effort to hold off the bulldogs in 4 sets. Central jumped out with big wins in the first two sets 25-14 and 25-8. Baton Rouge High responded with a 17-25 win to force another set. In a tight game, Tori Brown came off the bench to lead the Lady Wildcats to a win 25-22. Central is now 5-1 and 1-0 in District 5-5A. The next game will be Wednesday at Scotlandville. The freshman game begins at 4, the JV will play at 5 and the varsity will follow at 6:00.
