    Central Chamber’s President and CEO, Ron Erickson, has been elected to serve as the President of the Louisiana Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (LACCE) for 2015.
    As an arm of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), Louisiana’s State Chamber, LACCE is a membership driven, non-profit organization formed in order to bring together the Executives of the Chambers of Commerce throughout the state. The Organization serves as a catalyst to network and educate the Executives and the staffs within the statewide chamber areas.
    Executives from the membership of the association, from across the state, volunteer their time and resources to serve as the Board of Directors in a concerted effort to formulate new ideas and programs that will improve or enhance the quality of services offered to all state Chambers of Commerce. The Board uses its resources in combination with available resources throughout the state to keep an active network from which Chamber Executives can draw support.
    Erickson said, “I count it a privilege and an honor to serve as President for the Louisiana Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives for 2015!  When I first entered the chamber industry in October 2009 I was excited, yet faced many challenges and at times felt “slightly” overwhelmed.  In the spring of 2010 I discovered my chamber lifeline.  I found a group of caring and inspired professionals, who were willing to offer support, give me advice and freely share ideas that had made them successful.  I found LACCE!  I look forward to having the opportunity to give back to this organization.
    I want to take this opportunity to thank the Central Chamber Board of Directors for their support and for allowing me to be engaged on this level so I can serve LACCE and represent the Central Chamber and our community!”
    As President of LACCE for 2015, Erickson will also serve on the board of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry.
