Committed to Central

    There are one million more people in the Houston metropolitan area than in all of the state of Louisiana.  Mia and I drove through Houston over the holidays and every mile of 70 MPH bumper-to-bumper traffic reminded me of why I love Central.
    We are in our seventh year at Central Speaks, and have made a move to be even more available and involved in the Central community.  Our new office is in the shopping center at the corner of Sullivan and Hooper between the post office and Subway.  Stop in and see us Monday through Thursday from 8 to 4 at 13513 Hooper Road, or call us at 262-3730.
    Your story matters.  We print birth, wedding, and engagement announcements free.  Most classified ads are free.  Really, just about anything about the Central community that you and your neighbors would find interesting, we believe is worth printing.
    Central Speaks is Central’s only weekly newspaper, the only newspaper owned and staffed by Central residents, and the only newspaper with an office in Central.  More copies, more often, more affordable advertising, and more news about Central.  That is Good News for a Great City!
