A Salute to Great Neighbors (Friends) & Fire Departments

On December 23, 2014, our home in Pride, LA was struck by lightning.  Luckily my wife and I were not home.
Due to our great neighbors (who saw and heard the lightning strike), they called 911.  Within 18 minutes of that call, the Pride, Zachary, Chaneyville, and Central Fire Departments arrived and put out the fire.  These firemen worked and were able to save our home with minimum damage.  Not only did they save our home, but then they worked tarping the roof and helping with water removal.
These are outstanding people who deserve much more credit than ever received.
Many heartfelt thanks,
Kenny & Nancy Gomez
