    The City of Central Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 6:00pm at Kristenwood Meeting Facility, 14025 Greenwell Springs Rd, Central, LA 70739 to consider the following item(s):
COL-4-13 Between Lots D-2, D-3, D-5, D-6 and a Certain 1.5 Acre Tract of the former W.C. Watts Property  This property is located at the southeast corner of the Joor and Gurney Road intersection.  The applicant is requesting to combine five tracts into three.  (Applicant: Jeffrey Jones)
SS-21-13 Subdivision of Lot 5 of the former Louise and Julius Denham Property This property is located on the north side of Greenwell Springs-Port Hudson Road east of the Hubbs Road intersection.  The applicant is proposing to subdivide one lot into two for single family residential land use. SS-22-13 Subdivision of Tract B-2-B-1 of the former Myrtle Allen Property This property is located on Blackwater Road near Talmage Crumholt Road south of the Gurney Road intersection. RZ-6-13 Rezoning from Rural to B1 (Neighborhood Business District One) This property is located 13151 Denham Road which is on the north side of Denham Road between the Joor  and Devall Road intersections on Tract C of the former Presley G. Clayton property.  The applicant is proposing a commercial use for future business. (Applicant: James L. Weeks).  City of Central Master Land Use Plan recommendation:  Rural/Agriculture.
