City Council Meeting Tuesday at Kristenwood

The Central City Council will meet this Tuesday, March 28 at 6:00 p.m. at Kristenwood on Greenwell Springs Road.  The meeting is open to the public.  The agenda is below.

5) Public Hearing and action regarding the following instrument(s):
a) A resolution to recognize Bruce Simmons as the 2016 Law Enforcement Citizen of the Year for the City of Central. (By Council Members Ellis, Evans, Fralick, Messina, and Vance)
b) An ordinance to amend the 2016-2017 Fiscal Year Budget to appropriate funds for the receipt of a donation and expenditures for the Christmas event and to provide for related matters. (By Council Member Messina) Budget Committee Action (March 20, 2017): Council Member Shane Evans moved to make recommendation to the City Council for approval of this ordinance. The motion was seconded by Jason Knapps. Vote: 4 yeas (Messina, Evans, Martel, Knapps), 0 nays, 1 absent (Newman). Motion passed.
c) An ordinance to amend the 2016-2017 Fiscal Year Budget to appropriate funds for uniforms and repairs & maintenance and to account for a reduction in small equipment for the Police Department and to provide for related matters. (By Council Member Evans) Budget Committee Action (March 20, 2017): Council Member Shane Evans moved to make recommendation to the City Council for approval of this ordinance. The motion was seconded by Jason Knapps. Vote: 4 yeas (Messina, Evans, Martel, Knapps), 0 nays, 1 absent (Newman). Motion passed.
d) A resolution to authorize the Mayor of the City of Central to advertise a Request For Qualifications “RFQ” for professional engineering services and related consulting services for the City of Central Drainage System Maintenance Plan and to provide for related matters. (By Council Member Ellis)
