Central boys (11-1) are once again District Champs after Wednesday’s (3-8-17) victory over Zachary (1-11) 27-0 and 3306-1970. The BR District 1 District Championship is Central’s 4th in 5 years.  Central’s anchor Senior Parker Aucoin once again flirted with perfection by stoning a 10-pin in the 10th frame of the 1st game for a 267 en route to a terrific 679 series (267,226,186).  Senior Dylan Ringo followed with another strong performance with a 623 (204,221,198) while Senior Klaivon Woods added a 217, Senior Parker Wales rolled a 215 and Sophomore Michael Williston had a 201.
Overall on the season, Aucoin finished with a team high average of 199 (28.5-4.5 personal record) and Dylan Ringo followed with a 197 (27-8), giving Central one of the stronger bottom one-two punches in the state.  Seedings for the State Playoffs should be announced by week’s end.
