The CITY OF CENTRAL BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 5:00 PM at Kristenwood Meeting Facility, 14025 Greenwell Springs Rd, Central, LA 70739 to discuss the following cases:
1) BOA-16-16 Address: 12060 White Oak Plains, Lot 5 White Oak Plains Applicant: Stacie Thibodeaux. The applicant request the Board of Adjustments to grant a variance of Section 2.2 D (2)(4) of the Comprehensive Zoning Code to reduce the side and rear yard from 25’ and 35’ feet; respectively, to 10’ feet. The applicant proposes to install a 1,500 square foot shop for storage.
2) BOA-17-16 Address: 17179 Pin Cherry Avenue, Tract 1-A-1-A-1 Denham Prop. Applicant: Kevin and Penny Bruce. The applicant request the Board of Adjustments to grant a variance of Section 16.2 H (6) (c) of the Comprehensive Zoning Code which states that a recreational vehicle shall not be used for living purposes in any zoning district with the exception of within a RV Park. The applicant proposes to temporarily reside in an RV until the completion of a proposed residence.
3) BOA-18-16 Address: 8441 Joor Road, Tract B-3-A-1-E Watts Prop. Applicant: Greg Watts. The applicant request the Board of Adjustment to grant variances of Ordinance 2013-22, Section 203 Subsections 2, and 6 and Section 209 which states that no metal facades, and elevation depth changes shall be allowed for walls facing the road within the Corridor Overlay District . The applicant proposes to build a commercial metal building.
