Wildcats Defeat Yellow Jackets 35-14

   Central High Football improved to 5-3 on the season Friday night in an important district win over rival Denham Springs. Central's hopes of a playoff berth improved with the win, leaving the final games against Zachary and Live Oak to secure a spot in post-season play.
   Central took a 21-14 lead in the fourth quarter and proceeded to return two late-game interceptions for touchdowns and the 21 point margin. Central hosts Zachary this Friday on Senior Night, the last 2016 regular-season game in Wildcat Stadium.
   The 1966 State Championship Football team will also be honored on this 50th anniversary of the last state title for Wildcat Football.
