SAS Scores Big at State Beta Convention

   St. Alphonsus Catholic School brought it all home with several awards from the State Junior Beta Convention held in Lafayette.
   Pictured left to right, in top photo with awards: Nicholas Breaux took a most deserved first place with his outstanding origami sculpture, Leah Gil and Kristen Pulliam brought home a first place win in the scrapbook competition, and Megan Davis placed fifth in state with a beautiful lion in charcoal pastels.
   St. Alphonsus also won second place in group talent, performing scenes from Disney's Lion King.
   The group is now headed to New Orleans in June for Nationals. Congrats and best of luck guys!
