BOYS BEAT SCOTLANDVILLE
On Monday, February 29, at All Star Lanes the Boys (7-2) team bounced back from their loss to Catholic by knocking off unbeaten Scotlandville (4-1) in a rout, 24-3 and 3219-2574.  Central dominated each game winning 7-1 and by over 600 pins.  Overall Junior Dylan Ringo led the way with a 601 series (233 game) and Junior Parker Aucoin matched Ringo’s 601 with his own, adding a 222.  Senior/Captain Johnathan Ryder rolled a 528 (191) and Sophomore Dell Dickerson added a 190.
With three matches to go before the State Playoffs, Central continues to have one of the highest team averages in the Baton Rouge area and Parker Aucoin has the highest individual average with an impressive 210.  The Boys are back in action on Wednesday, March 2, against Broadmoor (3-5) at Circle Bowl.

GIRLS REMAIN UNBEATEN
Central Girls (8-0) got another step closer to a District Title three-peat by beating East Ascension on Wednesday, February 24, at Premier Lanes.  The undefeated Wildcats cruised to a 23-4 and 2861-2096 victory over East Ascension (4-3).  Junior Brittnee Robinson continued her great bowling with a 553 (221), followed by Junior Sariah Short's season high 525 (187) and Junior Brianna McCurley's 520 (191).
The Wildcats continue to rollout high scores match after match and look to be ready to make a strong push in the State Playoffs.  Currently, Central is head and shoulders above every other team in the Baton Rouge area in terms of team average.  Central averages 1008 per game, while defending State Champion St. Scholastica average is 901 and St. Michael’s is third best with a 795.  The Girls are off until Monday, March 7, when they bowl St. Amant (1-7) at Circle Bowl (neutral site).  On Tuesday, March 8, the Wildcats finish district play against East Ascension (4-3) and on Wednesday, March 9, the Girls cap off a busy week in a huge playoff seeding implication match with St Michael’s (8-1).  Both Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s matches are at All Star Lanes.
