Ron 2014b    The Louisiana Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives recently voted to appoint Central Chamber’s President, Ron Erickson, to the board of the Center for Chamber of Commerce Excellence.
The Center for Chamber of Commerce Excellence (CCCE) was created by the University of Oklahoma in order to assist chamber professionals in being able to keep up-to-date on management issues and chamber practices.  Erickson will serve on an eight member board that is comprised of chamber professionals from Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas.
As a member of the CCCE Board, Erickson will help to coordinate the training conference provided by The Center for Chamber of Commerce Excellence.  Through this training program, chamber professionals can earn a Certificate of Achievement in Advanced Chamber Management by completing Fundamentals of Chamber Management I, and Advanced Chamber Management II, and III.
Erickson, who received his Certificate of Achievement in Advanced Chamber Management in 2013, said, “It is truly an honor to serve in this capacity and represent the chambers of Louisiana.  It is a privilege to give back to the industry and to assist the CCCE in offering chamber professionals the opportunity to enhance their careers, gain important knowledge of industry standards, and to increase their respect and value to their respective communities.”
