John Davis Named Scholar Athlete

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Football Scholar-Athletes and nine Robert Morris Illinois student-athletes received this prestigious honor. A total of 312 football student-athletes received this award this season.
John Davis, a Central High School alumnus, earned his first honor after working hard the last two years to overcome an injury that resulted in his being redshirted twice.
To be eligible for this award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status. John was also included on the Dean’s List for Fall 2015. Congratulations, John!
