Runoff Election Saturday

    Polls are open this Saturday, November 21 from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.  This election features runoffs for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, and BESE District 6, as well as a vote to include Central in Parish Revenue Sharing, the passing of which would give our city thousands of dollars each year (explained in article below).
    On the ballot for Central includes candidates John Bel Edwards (D) and David Vitter (R) for Governor, Melvin “Kip” Holden (D) and “Billy” Nungesser (R) for Lieutenant Governor, James “Buddy” Caldwell (R) and “Jeff” Landry (R) for Attorney General, Kathy Edmonston (R) and Jason Engen (R) for BESE District 6, and a “yes” or “no” vote on the parish-wide item that would include Central  in Parish Revenue Sharing for the next ten years.  This last item is not a tax.  To see a sample ballot as well as your voting location, visit www.GeauxVote.com.
