Groundbreaking Friday for New CPT Facility

By  |

CPT (1)b    After 5 years of planning and working with the US Department of Agriculture, Central Physical Therapy has received the permitting and financing needed to build its new 6500 square foot facility.  The facility, which will cost $2,000,000, is twice as big as the present building and will feature an indoor pool and state of the art exercise and therapy equipment.
Central Physical Therapy has been serving the Central community since 2001.  They already offer Orthopedic, Sports, Balance and Vestibular Therapies, along with Certified Concussion Health Management, Cold Laser Treatments, Therapeutic and Functional Exercise, and WorkSteps Pre-employment Testing.  The new facility will add Aquatic Therapy, Specialized Medically-oriented Fitness Therapy, and programs including Pilates, Yoga, Low Impact Aerobics, Aquatic Yoga, Aquatic Fitness, Water Aerobics, and more.
Owners Helen Balzli and Tom Coplin presently employ 8 licensed  physical therapists and anticipate increasing their staff once the facility, to be located behind their present building, is constructed.  In the interim, all services to their patients will be continued without interruption in their current location at 13111 Hooper Road.   Tom shared, "This has been a long time coming and we're finally there!"  "We're looking forward to serving the people of Central with a bigger and better facility and more services!" beamed Helen.
The groundbreaking for this tremendous effort will be this Friday, August 28, from 12:00-2:00.  The public is invited to join in on this happy occasion!
