St. Alphonsus Beta Club Wins Talent Show at Convention

    The St Alphonsus Beta Club took first place in Group Talent at the State Junior Beta Convention held at the Cajun Dome in Lafayette May 7, 2015.  The 25 members performed an original routine to their version of a circus.  The extraordinary performance was titled “Betas, Rockin’ the Big Top”.  The club received a bid to compete in the National Convention in Nashville, Tennessee.  These 7th and 8th grade students will be performing the routine for the community on Sunday, May 31 at 1:15 in the St. Alphonsus Family Center.  Nicholas Breaux competed at the state level and placed third for a sculpture of 3D Origami Dragon.  He qualified to compete in nationals.
