The Crowning Moment girls from the surrounding area participated in the annual Raising Cane’s Lemonade Day to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House on May 2, 2015 in Central Square. Kailah & Ailynn Fresina of Zachary, Lily Hensley of Central, Caitlin Hager of Baton Rouge, Anna Claire Reily of Baton Rouge, and Layna Baker of Baker, came together for a worthy cause. The Ronald McDonald House is the national charity of the International Jr. Miss Scholarship Pageant, in which most of the girls will compete in July for the international titles in Virginia Beach. The girls won first place for cup decorations and second place for overall creativity. The Crowning Moment is offers youth mentoring and pageant coaching to girls across the Gulf Coast. TCM girls show firsthand that it’s more important to wear their crowns on their hearts by serving others.
