In Memoriam: Carrie Lipscomb

    Carrie Leigh Thurmon Lipscomb, 25, of  Pride, LA, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015. Carrie was a loving mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend and she will be missed dearly by all those who knew her. Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home, Central, LA, on Tuesday, May 5, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumed Wednesday, May 6, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., officiated by Rev. Jim Gross. Burial was at Bethel United Methodist Cemetery, Pride. 
    She is survived by by her husband, Travis Lipscomb; son, Dalton Lipscomb; parents, Stacie and Joel Hancock and Neal and Suzanne Thurmon; siblings and their spouses, Cody and Lindsey Thurmon, Amanda and Brandon David, Rodgest Orillion, and Jacob Thurmon; paternal grandparents, Sara Moran, Walter Hancock, and Carolyn Hancock; maternal grandparents, Alvin and Norma Harrington, and Terry and Pete Hanna; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Thomas Thurmon.
