Sullivan Road Widening Public Meeting April 28

LA DOTD will hold a PUBLIC MEETING for the Sullivan Rd widening project (Central Woods Ave to Hooper Rd) on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the Central Intermediate School Library (12636 Sullivan Rd) from 4pm to 7pm. The new roadway would consist of four (4) 12-foot travel lanes, 6-foot wide sidewalks, a 12-foot wide raised median and restricted crossing U-turns (RCUTs). Intersection improvements are also proposed at Hooper Rd (LA 408) and Sullivan Rd.
Informational materials will be distributed and graphic displays will be available for viewing. LDOTD representatives will be present to answer questions. A continuous presentation will be shown describing the project, alternatives studied, and impacts from the project, including wetlands and acquisition of right-of-way and relocation assistance. Verbal comments will be recorded and written comments will be accepted.
