CAPA Corner: Unclear on What is Unclean

By  |

“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing;…”
There are some in the Church today who are unclear on what is unclean.  Our young people, as well as adults, are faced with many shades of gray regarding God’s will, biblical truth, and what is right and wrong. The Bible is very clear on what is clean and holy as well as what is unclean and sinful. So why the lack of clarity? This is done by man redefining Christianity, church, and whatever else God has ordained in order to fit man’s lifestyle and still give a sense of being saved.  This is the work of the Devil; making the word of God vague and obscure, questionable and unclear.
From the beginning, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world, questioned the word of God when he said to Eve, “Yea, hath God said,..”.   It was very clear that Adam and Eve were not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, but the Devil came along with his subtlety and made it unclear by appealing to Eve’s flesh; clouding righteous judgment.
As long as we remain unclear on what is unclean this will leave us wide open to the subtleties of Satan which will lead to the satisfying of fleshly desires. God has made it very clear in his word, “For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.” (I Thes. 4:7).  If you desire clarity regarding God’s call unto holiness, then get into God’s word, stay in God’s word, apply his word to your life and he will clear things right up.
I pray blessings and God’s grace upon the body of Christ.  May our heavenly Father bring clarity on what is unclean that we may not live any longer therein and clarity on what is holy that we may heed his call in the name of Jesus, by the power of his Holy Spirit.
