The Central Chamber Report: Intermediate Business of the Year – Armco Electric!

By  |

Armco 2015b    On Thursday February 26th the Central Chamber held the 5th annual Central Chamber Awards Banquet.  The evening was eventful and memorable.  We are currently printing a series of articles in which we will highlight the award winners of the various categories.  This week we are highlighting The Intermediate Business of the Year for 2014 – Armco Electric.
Armco Electric joined the Chamber in 2008.  However, this business had already been providing jobs and helping to stimulate economic growth in our community long before the Central Chamber of Commerce existed.  Established in 1983, Armco Electric has grown from a 2 man operation to a 25 employee company.  With the growth of the business has also come an appreciation and love for the community in which they reside.  Besides supporting the Chamber and its activities, Alvin and his son, Casey, give back to the community by volunteering and supporting the various outreach activities in the area such as Cooking in Central and the Zachary Youth Park.  With everything from cooking food to providing numerous electrical services, this business has proven to be a tremendous support and help to our area! It is an honor and a privilege to declare Armco Electric the winner of the 2014 Intermediate Business of the Year Award!  Congratulations Armco Electric – owners Alvin and Casey McLeod!
