EBRSO Arrests Burglary Suspect

EBRSO responded to a call when an alarm went off at a home on Denham Road on Monday. The rear door of the house was kicked in, and, while the victim was on the phone with EBRSO, she stated that she saw the accused enter the home. Deputies, along with K-9, arrived and tracked the suspects to the residence of Shane Morris, the accused. Morris was taken into custody, and he admitted to forcing his way into the residence with the intent to burglarize the home. Morris has been booked at EBRSO Parish Prison for Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling and Simple Criminal Damage to Property.
