Upon further investigation Latting’s Nissan was found on the other end of the parking lot, and in plain view on the seat was a box of the same ceramic tiles.  Latting was arrested and charged with attempted burglary.
In Latting’s possession at the time of the arrest were seven Hydrocodone pills and two Alprazolam pills, schedule two and schedule four narcotics.

EBRSO Marijuana Arrest
On January 29th Jassem Hamed of Central was pulled over for driving without tail lights on Greenwell Springs Road in Central.  As Hamed stepped out of the vehicle, the EBRSO officer detected the strong smell of burnt Marijuana.
The officer immediately advised Hamed and the two passengers in the vehicle of their rights.  The officer then asked Hamed for permission to search the vehicle, to which the accused replied “sure you can search all you want, all I have is a small bag of weed.”
Three clear plastic bags containing what appeared to be Marijuana were found, along with four pipes which the accused admitted he used to smoke the substance.  He added that he had just purchased the suspected Marijuana and that it was his to smoke for the week.  Hamed was transported to EBR Parish Prison and booked.
