Hodges – Smunt Plan July Wedding in Illinois

    Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hodges of Watson are proud to announce the engagement of their son, Joshua Sean Hodges, to Ms. Anna Marie Smunt. The couple will be married in Chicago, Illinois, on Saturday, July 11th, 2015.
    The bride-elect is the daughter of Steve and MaryAnn Smunt of St. Charles, IL. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Allison of Chicago, IL. Paternal grandparents are Mrs. Vivian Smunt and the late Mr. Robert Smunt of Westchester, IL. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the National-Louis University in Chicago. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Masters in Teaching.
    Joshua is the son of Reverend Leland and State Representative Valarie Hodges of Watson. His maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Al Hope of Baton Rouge. Paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. John Hodges of Baton Rouge. He is a graduate of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Louisiana State University and the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, RI. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Masters in National Security and Strategic Warfare. He works for the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C.
    The couple plan to reside in Washington, D.C.
