February Events at First Baptist Church Central

    Two very special events are coming up as we try to start 2015 with food, fellowship, and excitement at First Baptist Church Central.  We’re located at 9676 Sullivan Road and want to issue a personal invitation to everyone in the community to “Come Worship with Us”!
    On February 6 through 8, we are having our annual "Renew" event. This year, Bro Mike Ferguson, pastor of Lanier Baptist, is coming to inspire us to serve Christ in 2015.  On Friday the 6th and Saturday the 7th, a meal will be served from 6 to 6:30 p.m. with services thereafter. The Sunday morning schedule will be as usual (Bible Study/Sunday School at 9:15 a.m. and the morning worship service at 10:30 a.m.). We want to invite our community to come and worship the Lord with us.
    On February 13th, we are having our annual Valentine banquet.  As usual, this is the primary fund raiser event for sending our students to summer camp.  Tickets are available now for $10.  Advance tickets may be purchased at the church office Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or from Stephannie Magee after any church service that you attend prior to the banquet.  The dinner will be grilled chicken, several sides and dessert.  Also, as usual, we will have plenty of entertainment.  Buddy Caldwell, the State Attorney General, and a very special guest are planning to be there, too.  This is always a great time and good food!  Help our students by attending this event. 
    As you can see, exciting things are happening in the fellowship of our church.  Please get the most out of 2015 for you and your family by participating in all our planned activities.
