Community Events – Central Style

Biggest Tailgate in Central
    Mark your calendars, September 12, LSU vs Mississippi State.  Cooking in Central is hosting the biggest tailgating event Central has ever seen.
    If the Cooking in Central events of the past are any indication, this should be one not to miss.  There is no doubt there will be an abundance of great food, and I understand entertainment will include not only the LSU game, but bands as well as entertainment for the kids.
    As a new city founded on a farming and bedroom community, Central is ripe for good ideas for community involvement and a fun family day right here at home.  This sounds like just such an opportunity.  Congrats to Cooking in Central for taking the initiative.
Movie in the Park
    Speaking of community events, the next Movie in the Park is scheduled for February 12th, weather permitting.  The event is held at Central Square at sundown and features a family-friendly big name moves shown on our giant 20 foot screen.  Watch Central Speaks for updates
