Central’s Biggest Tailgate

Cooking in Central has announced that the 2015 event will be an all day tailgate for the LSU vs Mississippi State game on September 12th at "Amazing Place" on Blackwater Road.
In addition to the multi-screen broadcast of the LSU game, there will be bands, children's activities, and some of the best food in Louisiana. Watch for details in the coming months and save the date for the biggest tailgate event in Central history.
Amazing Place, the Cooking in Central event site on Blackwater Road, has undergone major drainage and parking improvements over the last 18 months, and will be the perfect venue for a relaxing day with friends, family, and neighbors.
Cooking in Central officials announced that they will return in 2016 to the traditional spring event featuring two days of food and fun and Central's biggest cook-off.
