EBRSO Responds to Disturbance on East Beaver

On September 30, 2014 at approximately 1928 hrs., a deputy was dispatched to 14811 E. Beaver Drive in reference to a Disturbance. 

Upon arrival a resident stated that he yelled at the accused for playing loud music. He stated he and the accused began to curse each other. He stated the accused went into his residence and came out carrying a gun. He stated the accused yelled at him while holding the gun, and he was fearful the accused would shoot.

The accused observed Deputies walking in the area and asked if they were looking for a gun. He stated he had one in his vehicle.

A witness then advised he observed the accused in the street holding a gun saying, “I'm about that life." The witness advised the victim was telling the accused "come to my yard and fight." The witness advised the accused placed the scoped gun into his vehicle. Affiant observed an SKS rifle, with a scope, in plain view on the back seat of the accused's vehicle. Affiant took possession of the firearm after the Accused gave verbal and written consent to search his vehicle.

The accused, William Thomas, was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and Disturbing the Peace.
