Ann and Jack Hood Celebrate 50th Anniversary

    Ann and Jack Hood of Baton Rouge celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on August 22, 2014. They had a party with family and friends at their home on Sunday, August 24th.
    The couple’s children and their spouses are Jeff and Christina Hood of Denham Springs, Kelli Hood of Greenwell Springs, and Kevin and Rachel Hood of Watson. They have six grandchildren, Justan, Ashlea, Courtlyn, Austan, Kyler, and Landon. They have one great grandchild, Mollea.
    The celebration included two musical DVDs made by Ann. One was of their wedding pictures and the other was of pictures taken throughout the years. Also, a CD of their favorite songs, including their wedding songs, was playing. The couple was given keepsakes of pictures including a collage of pictures from the last fifty years made by their daughter Kelli.
    The couple married August 22, 1964 at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux, La. Ann is the former Ann Naquin of Thibodaux. They plan a trip to Disneyworld in November.
