Football Season Opens

By  |

Central Private School’s 2014 regular season opened on August 22nd with a tough game against Riverfield, but the Rebels turned it around last week with a 22-6 victory against the CHEF Patriots.  Come out to see the Rebels face Trinity Episcopal at home this Friday at 7 PM under new Head Coach and CP Athletic Director Joey Sanchez.
Central High School’s regular season starts this Friday in Wildcat Stadium against Kipp Renaissance at 7 PM.  For those who cannot attend in person, Wildcat varsity football games will be broadcast live on the radio this season, thanks in large part to headline sponsor Central Stat Care.  Tune in to 91.9 FM and on the TuneIn Radio App beginning at 6:45 PM each Friday during football season.  Les Bueche and Blake Andrews will be giving play by play and analysis on the radio, while last year’s radio voice Brett Tranchina will be moving to the stadium announcer position.
For even more Central High football and other Wildcat sports, check out Sports Central, the radio show broadcasting live from Coaches Grill each Thursday from 5 to 6 PM on CBS Sports affiliate station 910 AM.  CHS Coaches Sid Edwards and Steve Johnson are collaborating to host the Sports Central Radio Show.
Good luck this season to the Wildcats and the Rebels!  Visit www.CentralSpeaks.com to find football schedules for both teams.
