July Building Permits

By  |

During the month of July 2014 in the city of Central, a total of 7 new residential permits were issued.  The total valuation of these permits was $1,680,296.
Within these July permits, two were in Woodstock with an average valuation of $249,932; one in Gates at Burlington valued at $157,318; one in Northwoods valued at $280,710; one on Brett Place valued at $265,922; one on G.S./Port Hudson Rd valued at $188,440, and another on G.S./Port Hudson Rd valued at $288,042.
Building valuation is the price based upon the square footage of the home used for permitting purposes.  The actual selling price of the home is usually higher than the valuation and depends upon amenities installed by the builder.
On the commercial side, a permit was issued for a new AT&T cell tower behind Oak Point Fresh Market; a commercial remodeling for a church on Comite Drive; and a remodeling permit at 14200 Sparkle Dr.
